It’s that time of the year again: The Fairplay Flume’s People’s Choice Voting is now officially open! Cast your votes for everything from Best New Business to Best Barista East and West of Kenosha.

This is a just-for-fun questionnaire for you to register your opinions. The votes will be counted using a very non-scientific method, and the results will be published in a future edition of The Flume.

The deadline to submit nominations is March 6, 2026. The online survey is linked below, or fill out the print form in the Flume and mail it to The Mountain Mail, PO Box 189, Salida, CO 81201.

Only one ballot is permitted per person. Duplicates will not be counted. Happy voting!

B***o Days was awesome! Thanks to all who came out to enjoy all of the events, races, vendors, food and music! We will be posting photos and more results over the next week or so but until then, here are the B***o Race results! Thank you to our b***o racers, we know its a tough race and we commend you for your athleticism and stamina! Way to go B***o Racers! We’re excited to invite you to a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, July 27th at the Park County School District RE-2!

📍 Location: 640 Hathaway Street, Fairplay
🕖 Time: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
💲 Cost: $15 per adult | $10 per child | Children under 5 eat free

All proceeds will benefit the Park County RE-2 School Foundation for Teacher and Staff Scholarships.

We’re also looking for volunteers!
If you’d like to help, please arrive at 6:00 AM to help set up or 6:30 AM to help serve. Volunteers are also needed to help clean up starting at ​9:​30 AM.

Join us for the 76th B***o Days, July 25-27, in Fairplay, CO! Kick things off with The Long Run, Eagle's Tribute Band, from 6-9pm on Friday, July 25th. Arts & Crafts booths will be on on Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-4pm and you can enjoy live music at the Gazebo and 5th Street stage throughout the weekend. Hungry? Food trucks will be open too! Before watching the llamas run, sign up your kiddo and pup for the Kid's Pack Dog Race at the Fairplay Beach. Don't forget what it's all about, the World Championship Pack B***o Race on Sunday, July 27th! The Long Course starts at 10:15am and the Short Course at 10:30am. See you there! ***odays ***orace
