This circa 1988 prom photo was included in an exhibit entitled, “Out All Night: Senior Prom Reimagined” created by photographer-artist, Carolyn Sherer.

Sherer added handwritten text based on interviews with those pictured as well as oil pencil highlights to more than 50 classic prom photos spanning 1957-2000.

We framed this personal copy for with an oversized mat and gold fillet to accent the photograph.

The stories we preserve. This tablecloth once graced the formal living room of Annaliese Ostereich Kamrath in the city of Marienburg in East Prussia. It was hastily packed in a trunk and sent west ahead of the Soviet occupation in 1945. Later the trunk was recovered by her son Dietrich in West Germany.
