🍭✨ Just a few highlights from last night’s magical celebration of the 55th anniversary of the original W***y Wonka & the Chocolate Factory! 🎩🍫

More than 100 guests stepped into our world of pure imagination—and what an unforgettable evening it was! From the colorful decorations and sweet surprises to our amazing costumed characters, every detail helped bring W***y Wonka’s factory to life.

Our Fairhaven Recreation staff truly went above and beyond once again, pouring their creativity, energy, and hearts into making the evening special for every family who joined us. We couldn’t be prouder of this incredible team! 💜

Thank you to everyone who came along for this wonderfully Wonka adventure. We hope you left with sweet memories, big smiles, and a little more pure imagination! 🍬✨

🍫🎩 A Wonka-Sized Thank You to Dorothy Cox Chocolates! 🎩🍫

We want to send a very special thank-you to Dorothy Cox Chocolates for helping make our W***y Wonka & the Chocolate Factory 55th Anniversary Showing extra sweet!

Their amazing team helped us find all the perfect retro candies, prepared our delicious chocolate bars, wrapped them in special W***y Wonka wrappers, and even secretly placed a Golden Ticket beneath one lucky wrapper! ✨🎫

Congratulations to our Golden Ticket winner, Maverick! He also received a special prize that he can collect at the Dorothy Cox Chocolates shop—just like a true winner from W***y Wonka’s factory! 🍬🏆

🏓 Pickleball Returns September 3rd!

Join us at the Fairhaven Recreation Center for pickleball every Monday through Saturday from 8:00–10:00 AM, beginning Thursday, September 3rd.

Grab your paddle and come enjoy some friendly competition, exercise, and fun! All skill levels are welcome.

Mother Nature may be sending a few raindrops our way, but she is definitely NOT taking away our Golden Ticket!

Our W***y Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Movie Night is officially moving INSIDE the Fairhaven Recreation Center this Friday night!

🚶‍♀️ Senior Walking Returns September 3! 🚶‍♂️

Join us Monday through Friday from 12:00–12:30 PM for indoor walking in the Fairhaven Recreation Center gymnasium.

Rain or shine, our gym is a safe and comfortable place to walk, stay active, and enjoy great company. We look forward to welcoming everyone back!

🤝 BIGS & LITTLES — IT'S GAME TIME! 🏀🎲

We're excited to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts to offer FREE Open Gym & Board Games exclusively for Bigs and their Littles!

Starting Saturday, September 12, join us each week for an afternoon of fun, friendship, and active play.
