In just over a month, Downtown Fairfield's Old Armory comes back to life with our grand opening weekend: three nights of live music, dancing, awesome food & drinks, and community celebration!

New Orleans–based ensemble Nolatet heads up the festivities on Thursday, Sept. 10th, and Friday, Sept. 11th, with their signature blend of mellow jazz, quirky grooves, and fearless improvisation.

Get down to songs from Nolatet's critically acclaimed new album, "Somethin' to Relax With" plus older stuff, and the band's usual experimentation.

Some buildings are worth bringing back to life. For more than a century, the old Armory has been part of Fairfield’s story. Now, it is being restored and reimagined as Blue Rose Ballroom & Bistro, a place for music, food, art, learning, celebration, and community. Every wall, every detail, and every layer of progress is part of something bigger: honoring the history of this building while creating a new gathering place for Fairfield’s future.
