When there’s a Will, there’s a way. 🖊️

“The Book of Will” brings to life the chaotic, hilarious, passionate, and mostly true endeavor to compile Shakespeare’s plays into the legendary First Folio!

About the show: Without William Shakespeare, we wouldn’t have literary masterpieces like “Romeo and Juliet.” But without Henry Condell and John Heminges, we would have lost half of Shakespeare’s plays forever! After the death of their friend and mentor, the two actors are determined to compile the First Folio and preserve the words that shaped their lives. They’ll just have to borrow, beg, and band together to get it done. Amidst the noise and color of Elizabethan London, The Book of Will finds an unforgettable true story of love, loss, and laughter, and sheds new light on a man you may think you know.

Tickets $10-$25 online, by phone, or at the door!

A note from our Artistic Director, Christine Mani, about our upcoming season:

This summer, I traveled to London (during the heatwave... because of course) to spend some time studying Shakespeare and theater.

My husband and I visited Stratford-upon-Avon - Shakespeare's birthplace.

The second my feet touched the very stone floor he walked on … where we know he lived … I started to cry.

I felt the presence, a connection, a moment of understanding.

While we chose our shows months before, that connection through time and space validated our season selections for me.

This year, we're presenting Shakes-Year, a year of historical fiction, fact, and fun.

For the people who "don't like Shakespeare," don't worry... our shows this season are easily understood (and beloved) by the modern theatre-goer.

Please consider becoming a subscriber to enjoy these works honoring The Bard and his legacy as a playwright.

It's $40 for adults, $32 for seniors/staff/military, and just $15 for student subscribers.
