I would like to first say thank you to every sponsor and volunteer that helped Tad, Avery and I the past two years completely turn this rodeo around from where it was the year before we took it over to where we grew it
We cant speak for avery but I (Michelle Cannon) and Tad Cannon would like everyone to know we came to a very easy decision to resign from director and secretary of the Freestone County Youth Rodeo. We had one goal in mind and that was to make it the best youth rodeo we possibly could for the kids!! This decision is not a reflection on the kids or even the parents but else where.
Thank you for a wonderful and successful 2024 and 2025 year! We will be terminating this page soon.

My apologies as I’ve recieved a few texts today about checks. The fair board is currently working on them and I will keep everyone posted once they go out. The youth rodeo operates under the Freestone Fair and Rodeo Association and so our checks are getting done as quick as they can with all their other fair checks. Thank you for your patience.
