Philippine folk dance has a long and diverse history. Each region in the Philippines features its own folk dances, originating from the precolonial era to the time of the Spanish occupation. Most of these Filipino folk dances tell stories about historical happenings, ways of life, cultural influences, fruitful harvesting and religious customs. They also danced to socialize and to express their fee

For 13 years, the U.S. continues to celebrate Filipino American History Month in October. This year, our FACPA youth was honored to celebrate its heritage on-stage at BLINK, our nation’s largest immersive light, art, and projection-mapping experience, which attracted 2 million visitors over a span of four days.

As October and Filipino American History Month nears the end, FACPA will honor its heritage with the last dance at the Kamayan Brunch Feast, hosted at Esoteric Brewing Company.
Come out and support the community, our youth, and Filipino-owned businesses this Sunday, October 30!

welcomes it's newest member, Jared!

This 5 year old loves music! His favorite song is 10,000 Hours by Dan and Shay and Justin Bieber. 🎢🎡When Van Halen's son "Jump" plays, count on Jared to pretend-play being a Rockstar and, while he has big dreams for the future, his hero here and now, is none other than his mom. πŸ’•
