✨Meet the Teachers✨ Introducing Mr. Dexter!
Dexter Amande is a versatile choreographer and dance educator whose artistic and pedagogical approaches are built upon a robust academic foundation and personal experience. This foundation includes an AA in Theater Dance and a BA in Dance Making, providing a unique blend of performance skills and creative theory. His practical experience spans competitive collegiate teams like Samahang Modern and 909 Dance Troupe, alongside several K-Pop performance teams with SeouLA, KBM Dance, and Tartan Seoul. Dexter has leveraged this depth of knowledge as a Dance Director for several beginner exhibition training teams with Foundations Choreography, focused on building strong technical foundations. His ultimate teaching philosophy centers on building confidence in dancers through self acceptance, movement exploration, and artistic expression for every dancer. Dexter currently teaches K-Pop for 7-10 on Fridays @ 4:45-5:35pm and K-Pop 11+ on Tuesdays @ 7:15-8:05pm.
