Last week, when the National Symphony Orchestra performed at our Center for the Performing Arts and members of the Mason Orchestras were honored to attend an open rehearsal and Q&A with Maestro Noseda. We were inspired and grateful for the opportunity to learn from such extraordinary musicians, and especially proud to welcome the NSO to our home. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Last week, Dr. Han had the great privilege of visiting two outstanding orchestra programs in Virginia Beach: Tallwood HS, led by Adrienne Pucky, and Kellem HS, led by Dylan Root. The students at both schools were incredibly kind, responsive, and musical. Thank you for welcoming us and sharing your wonderful programs with us. Wishing you all a fantastic school year!

CONGRATULATIONS to Mason strings students and Prof. Huang on their outstanding presentation at the ASTA national Conference in San Francisco! Their presentation on “Getting to the Core of Bow Strokes” was extremely well received, and others were involved in panel discussion on teaching students with special needs. We are so proud of you!
