Independent films are the soul of filmmakers and showcase the start of many career starts. It’s very hard, especially with covid, to see these films on the big screen. It’s wonderful to find local cinemas that dedicate big screens for these serene independent films. I have recently watched Ruby In Paradise and found it to be enlightening in terms of life, tribulations, and naturalism. I know watching this film and all the detailed scenes and astonishing cinematography shots would be stunning on the big screen. I highly recommend giving this film a watch and hopefully on the big screen!
If you come across some gently worn shoes during your spring closet clean-out - consider bringing them to the annual shoe drive at . Fair City will donate them to Soles4Souls. Shoes can be dropped off through May 6th at Cinema Arts Theatre, The Quilter's Studio and The Nutrition Corners.
