Developmental Swim Team starts soon!

Our Developmental (Non-Competitive) Swim Team is the perfect next step for swimmers ages 6-16 looking to build skills and confidence in the water this fall.

Coaches will work with on all four strokes, starts, turns, and more through focused drills and workouts up to an hour long.

Prerequisites: Must be able to swim 25 meters of freestyle and backstroke

Our annual apple picking event is around the corner! Join us on Sunday, September 6, for Gather and Grow: Apple Picking in Northern Virginia in Bluemont, VA.

Enjoy a day of apple picking, farm fun, and community connection in the Blue Ridge foothills. The farm has pumpkin picking, a corn maze, farm animals, a jump pillow, slides, wagon rides, and more.

$15/person wristband covers all farm fun plus our special High Holiday group activities (apples picked and paid for separately). Kids under 3 are free but still need to register. Meet the Growing Jewish Families group at the giant cow from 10:00–10:45 AM for wristband pickup.

Growing Jewish Families, Gesher, and PJ Library came together at Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods for a special concert with Grammy Award-winning musician Joanie Leeds and her daughter Joya, straight off their Grammy-nominated album "Ageless: 100 Years Young." Thank you to everyone who joined us for this beautiful morning!

Join us on Thursday, September 3 at 7:0pm for an evening of mixed media art as we prepare for the High Holidays. Cut paper, paint, draw, and play as you create a personal blessing, hope, or prayer for the new year. No artistic or Jewish background required & all materials, guidance, and support provided.

This special hands-on event, Make, Create, Celebrate: A High Holiday Mixed Media Art Workshop, will be led by artist Julie Wohl. Julie's exhibit, Sacred and Ordinary, will be on display in the Bodzin Art Gallery August 31–October 19.
