🚨🚨 Important Walt Disney World Transportation Update 🚨🚨

If you're planning a Walt Disney World vacation, there's a NEW TRANSPORTATION POLICY you'll want to know about.

🚨Beginning June 28, 2026, guests traveling from Disney Springs to a Disney Resort hotel by bus or the Sassagoula River Cruise boats will need to show one of the following:

🏨 A valid Disney Resort hotel reservation
🍽️ A confirmed dining reservation at the resort you're visiting
🎟️ A confirmed experience or activity reservation at that resort

If you don't have one of these, you won't be able to board transportation from Disney Springs to that resort.

✨Good news: This change only affects transportation departing from Disney Springs. Transportation between Disney parks, Disney Resort hotels, the Monorail, Skyliner, and other Disney transportation options remain unchanged.

Disney says this policy is intended to help reduce transportation crowding and discourage guests from using Disney Springs as free parking to access the parks.

🌍✈️ How I Choose My Destinations ✈️🌍

People often ask how I decide where to travel next... and honestly, it’s not always about picking the “most popular” place. It’s about what fits the experience I’m looking for in that moment.

Here’s what I usually consider when choosing a destination:
✨ The kind of experience I want
Am I looking for relaxation, adventure, history, food, or something family-focused? The “why” behind the trip usually comes first.

💰 Budget & timing
Some destinations are better at certain times of year. I look at seasonality, pricing, and how far I want my budget to stretch.

🌤️ Weather & season
A beach trip hits different when it’s actually beach weather. I try to match the destination with the best season for it.

🧳 Who I’m traveling with
Solo trips, couples, and family travel all feel completely different... and the destination should fit the group.

💡 A little inspiration factor
Sometimes a place just sticks in my mind... a photo, a story, a movie scene — and that’s reason enough to start planning.

At the end of the day, the best destination isn’t always the biggest or trendiest one... It’s the one that fits the memory you want to create. 💙

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we can enjoy the freedoms we have today. ❤️🤍💙

While many of us spend this day with family, friends, and even travel, it’s also a time to reflect and give gratitude for those who made it possible.

🏰✨ The Story Behind My Favorite Souvenir ✨🏰

One of my most meaningful travel souvenirs comes from a trip to Walt Disney World in 2017... a trip that was already special because it was Andrew’s and Grayson’s first time there. 💙

It was also the first time we decided to try pin trading, and we were just having fun going from place to place, learning as we went. While pin trading with a Cast Member (mousekeeper), she noticed our engagement and started chatting with us for a bit.

Then she told us to wait.

She disappeared through a door marked “Employee Only,” and we honestly had no idea what was coming next. When she came back, she had a pin she had been saving for herself...Mickey and Minnie hugging. 🐭❤️

She handed it to us as a gift.

That moment completely stayed with me. It wasn’t just a pin anymore... it became a reminder of kindness, connection, and how travel moments can turn into lifelong memories when you least expect them.

I still have that pin on my pin board to this day, and it’s easily my most treasured souvenir. ✨
