🎮 Level complete, Fairbanks.

On Valentine's Day 2017, we switched on three VR headsets in a small location in Ester. Since then, more than 15,000 guests have played with us, and we've hosted over 800 birthday parties and events. Thank you. 💙

After nearly ten years, our location at 1800 Airport Way is closing. Our last day open is Sunday, October 18. Until then, we're open Thursday to Sunday, by advance booking only.

But the story isn't over. 🚐 Arctic Sun VR is going mobile, bringing our Free-Roam Arena to parties, schools and businesses across Alaska. We're working to open mobile bookings in time for the holiday season.

Last Wednesday of summer break, Fairbanks. School starts Tuesday. 🎒

Tonight from 3 to 8, our Premium Arcade VR Stations are $25 an hour instead of $39. Ages 8 and up, 75+ games to choose from, favorites from Fruit Ninja VR to Synth Riders, and our staff gets everyone set up and comfortable, no gaming experience needed. It's official. On Monday, Fairbanks signed the host agreement for the 2028 Arctic Winter Games. This will be our fourth time welcoming the Games, after 1982, 1988, and 2014, and around 2,000 athletes from across the circumpolar North will gather here in March 2028.

Here's the part worth knowing: pulling this off takes a couple thousand volunteers, and as of this week the Host Society has about 50 signed up. They are just getting started, and Fairbanks has a long habit of showing up. If you've ever wanted to be part of something like this, watch for the Fairbanks 2028 Host Society's volunteer call. 🙌

We'll be cheering, volunteering, and welcoming visitors right along with the rest of town. ❄️
