Our cozy crafting weekend wouldn't be complete without the warm, cozy drinks and delicious food!

☕ The Crash Cart will be parked out front all weekend serving hot & iced espresso drinks, teas, hot cocoa and more!

🥙 Meg's Eats & Treats will be serving fabulous gyros and more out of the 3rd floor kitchen. Meat & vegetarian options available!

🍩 And finally, the Fiber Fest Bake Sale will be on the 1st floor - Saturday and Sunday only - with a special homemade donut delivery on Sunday morning!

Fairbanks Fiber Festival + Cozy Collective AK = the 2026 Fairbanks Maker Weekend!

Let's make this weekend all about discovering local artists, supporting small businesses and celebrating the incredible handmade community we have here in Fairbanks!

Pick up your Fairbanks Maker Weekend Passport THIS WEEKEND at either event, get it stamped at BOTH, then turn it in for a chance to win a basket of handmade goodies, donated from our vendors! ❤️

Let us not forget who the real stars of Fiber Fest are - the bunnies! 🐰

We are SO happy to have Lagomorph Land back at Fiber Fest this weekend with their Angora rabbits, Jersey Woolies and Fuzzy Lops!

Be sure to visit their booth for husbandry demos (nail trims and how to health check the rabbits), grooming talks, shearing demos and plenty of bunny petting time!

Shearing demos will be happening around 1:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday - find them on the 2nd floor!

The Community Hats Project is headed back to Fiber Fest this weekend! ❤

We're calling on all Fairbanks knitters & crocheters to join us in helping to keep our community warm this winter!

FREE knitting & crochet kits (including yarn & pattern) will be available to pickup at Fiber Fest - look for the Community Hats table on the main floor!

🧶We'll also be accepting YARN DONATIONS for kit making at the festival. Wool is preferred but nothing too scratchy, please!

All finished items can be donated directly to Bread Line Inc., brought to Fiber Fest or delivered to another organization you care about doing similar work!

SELL your (gently) used fiber equipment at Fiber Fest!

Do you have fiber arts tools or equipment that have been passed down to you or you're just no longer using? Here's an opportunity to give them a new home!

Anyone can bring items to sell, with 20% of sales supporting the Fiber Festival and 80% going back to the seller!

New or used items are welcome, including but not limited to: spinning wheels, looms, wool carders and combs, spindles, needles, hooks, yarn winders and swifts, etc. No yarn or fiber - tools and equipment only!

ITEM DROP OFF: Friday 10/9 from 5-8pm or Saturday 10/10 from 9-10am at the Alaskaland Centennial Center.

You can pre-register your items now on our website - not required, but preferred!

Anything not sold will need to be picked up on the afternoon of Sunday 10/10.

In this workshop, you'll learn the garter tab cast on, triangle shaping using yarn overs, and how to insert stitch patterns. Your design choices can be simple and mindless or fancy and challenging!

About the instructor: Lynn is an avid knitter, spinner and crafter. She enjoys designing her own accessory patterns, with FUNctionality as a guiding principle. She launched Triangle Project two years ago, and is excited to bring some trilateral joy to this year’s festival. Come knit with her!
