I love being surrounded by birch trees.
Really I love being surrounded by any kind of tree but there’s something magical about birch trees.

When Isaiah started going to SWDP when he was in 6th grade (now he’s a freshman) it only took around a month to see how much of a blessing this place is and I knew that I must create a painting for them. Many visions came to me but it took a few years for this one to move me into action.

I can’t say enough great things about what Coach Bockert and his family have created for this community. I know very very little about wrestling but what I do know is the positive impact that they have on these kid’s lives. They are building up a community that teaches self discipline, kindness, being respectful and supportive towards others, spiritual/mental/physical strength, and the list goes on and on.

I have great respect for IGA/SWDP and this painting is a small way of mine to say thank you.
God Bless you and the mission 🙌

I’ve got great excitement about these two paintings because they are the first paintings that I had professionally photographed to create prints. The details in the images blow my mind! Soooooo much more detail than from my phone. Thank you Ravenink Printing Alaska for doing an amazing job! I just wish you were based here in Fairbanks. I will have options for purchase in the near future. These would look great at home, in the office, and they’d make a great gift!

The statue and church is iconic Fairbanks, our home. It’s a small way of expressing the Love I have for our city. ❤️

The Jordan painting brings me joy because I think about how at that time when this photo was taken, it was before his legend, it is a time of a young man with a dream and the determination to become great. This Jordan had no idea the giant he would become in this world.

I can say much more about what these paintings mean to me but words can get in the way of how it makes the viewer feel.

One Love
