Thank you Julie Hurtle for hand -picking your backyard grass for my animals and dropping off about 8 bags at the petting zoo!!!

Unbeknownst to most people- my daughters' first chore of the day is to fill 2, 4-wheeler wagons with grass and weeds to feed to our herd.

Our 🎂party on Sunday!

It had😎 cooled from the day before...thankfully.

We celebrated a sweet little 👦man turning 3! The first time we met this👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 family, I believe he was just a precious new 🍼born.

One of his 👦guests was patiently waiting for a🐔 chicken to lay an 🥚egg. Wouldn't 'cha know it?! By the time we made the quick 15 minute 🚗 drive to Little Zoo after the party-not 🐔one, but TWO 🐔🐔chickens had laid 🥚🥚eggs in the carrier 🤣

We have about a week of no parties scheduled after doing 6 or 7 in consecutive days. Whew! Time to get things done behind the scenes.

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the day at Fairbanks North Star Borough Pioneer Park on Saturday.

It was a toasty 🌞warm day. It was proof our Alaskan ☀️ summer has officially started!

There were so many fantastic 🫧 events happening at the park.

We appreciate all the👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 parents and🧓👵 grandparents who make their way over to our🐐🦆🐰🐔🐢 petting zoo to give the 👧kiddos a chance to interact with our animals.

This was all a 💕dream 💕of mine just about 6 years ago.

We had a 🎈party taking place at the Little Zoo (689 Whitney Dr.) property last night.

Adorable👧 L turned 7!!!

My goal for a🎉 birthday party where the👦👧 kids come in scared of 🐔chickens is to have them be professional chicken-wranglers by the time the one hour party is over.

Take a look at the pictures! 👧L was 👏cheering on her friends to be as brave as she was, by the end of the party.

Also, kuddos to the 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦parents of this year...as long as my pool 💧water is relatively clean, I don't mind the kids playing in it. They can even add 🌿grass and leaves at the end before we dump it.

I enjoyed the👶 toddler last night who added leaves and stirred it with a hair brush for her own entertainment! 😂

Imagine That Childcare 👧👦was where we were in the late afternoon, yesterday.

Did you know kids really like to have a job to do? Whether it was slapping 🦟mosquitos and then feeding them to the 🐔chickens, or breaking off🌿 branches with leaves for the 🐐goats and🐰 bunnies...kids are willing to help out!

We brought 4 out of our 5 baby 🐐goats with us.

For the first time, we brought🐹 Olaf and🐹 Dynamite to an outdoor party.

We shared our animals🐐🐢🐰🦆🐔 with the wonderful residents at👵🧓 Timber Creek Senior Living, yesterday.

For this special occasion, we took the🐐 baby goats for the first time since we knew they would be more gentle on the elderly than our 1 year old 🐐🐐 twins.

We have found being around animals make the elderly come 💕alive.

We set up in the🌞 sun on this perfect-weather day.

I was able to visit with my favorite 🧓brother and 👵sister there...and found out this time he grew up in 🌽Nebraska...and even knew of my 1,000 people population hometown! Unheard of! It really is a small 🌎 world.
