And last but certainly not least is my good friend Bobby. Bobby and I met through mutual friends and while playing games online into the night and getting to hang out with him, I have found him to be a genuinely great friend. I think the biggest congratulations goes to Bobby for completing this nearly 40 mile hike we did. He had never done anything like this, but, had a determination to prove he could. I mean, once you're already 13 miles in you can't really go back, right? lol. PROUD OF YOU BOBBY!

I am super proud of my friends. I am happy I got to spend those 3 days with this group, share these memories.

These long hikes, I love them, even though there are times where I think my heart is gonna beat out of my chest because of how much my gear weighs thanks to camera gear and a passion for landscape photography. The hikes remind me I don't need to be texting or doom scrolling facebook/youtube short videos. I do use my phone to take photos for future hikes or because I don't want to stop the group every 2 miles so I can take 30 minutes to an hour taking photos in harsh lighting haha.

I love hiking because when I am on the trail with friends or I am going solo, I am present in the still silent moments. Staring off into the creeks, skies, and mountains with the only thought of, wonder what's over there.

Oh Lort it's Tony and Missa!

I've known Missa for so many years and have shared both highs and lows within our own lives. We have watched each other grow into the people we are now, and, I think we are pretty cool.

I've met Tony before but not living where they live I haven't really gotten to get to know him, but Missa always talked him up and how great and rad he is, and, she was totally right haha. This being the first time getting to actually hang out with Tony was purely fantastic and I see why Missa loves him so, because he is truly a great person.

I'm stoked I was able to capture this 4 shot vertical pano by hand and have it come out as good as it did. To be fair though, they have made pano stitching pretty easy to do these days, but, you can still easily mess it up (I do it from time to time)

One of my best buddies, the one and only, Mark! I always have such a fantastic time with Mark whether it be sitting around making jokes and talking about music or out and about adventuring and taking in the the Alaskan views out in the middle of nowhere. Him and his wife are some of the sweetest peoples I know.

Our 1st night camping after hiking over 13 miles on the Resurrection Pass. Sat out at this lookout for a couple hours waiting for the sun to set, but, I couldn't stay up for it.

Went and hiked Resurrection Pass over the weekend. Pretty rad times for sure. More to come.
