Just finished the Terraced Hill Shawl by Laura J. Bellows using three skeins of my sweet sock base and three of JUL’s new gingko leaf stud buttons. I’m really loving it. So versatile because it’s pretty long! Not sure I have it displayed the best way but I’m never sure what to do with shawls, as I do not wear them.

Pattern well written and super easy using simply the garter stitch. Perfect project for on the go because it is pretty mindless. And who doesn’t need a mindless project in certain circumstances?

toni ritchey-ridella carried a selection of these stud buttons and I love them. So many ways to use them.

Just in! stud buttons — what a great idea to make a removable button. Can be used so many ways - as a decoration/pin just for the hell if it, a shawl pin, and a functional button!

I’m finishing up one of Laura Bellows’ patterns now and can’t wait to use these!

Check them out next time you’re here at the shop or at one of my shows. I’ll be at the Frederick Fiber Fest on October 24 then at on the 31st for our Halloween fiber festival. OR if you come to “I Love Yarn” day event on October 10 you’ll see them here, along with Chronicles of Cheryl who will be celebrating our love of yarn with a trunk show here at Raggz.
