Aloha neighbors - this HNL Alert from the Oahu Department of Emergency Management reports that the City and County of Honolulu has released an online form for Oahu residents to self-report damage to their homes from TROPICAL STORM LALA on O'ahu: https://local.nixle.com/alert/12604703/?sub_id=0
As we begin to inspect our homes and property for damages, remember that the Department of Emergency Management is accepting only residential damage reports. If your home suffered damaged from Tropical Storm Lala, please fill out the assessment form at the link below. This is not an application for aid but will help the City assess the scope of storm damage.
-Reporting damage is a voluntary activity and is not a substitute for reporting damage to your insurance agency, nor does it guarantee disaster relief assistance.
-Please submit one survey per affected household. If living with roommates, please submit one per roommate.
-This form is for damage that occurred on O‘ahu only.
-If you need financial or other assistance, call 2-1-1. For life-threatening needs, call 9-1-1.
