Friends, neighbors, and anyone in our wider community—
I’m reaching out with a personal request that could make a life‑changing difference for someone who’s working hard to get on their feet.
I recently hired a new employee who is dedicated, kind, and showing up every day for our students despite facing a huge barrier: reliable transportation. As many of you know, schools—especially ours—operate on shoestring budgets, and entry‑level positions don’t leave much room to absorb the cost of a dependable vehicle.
So I’m asking:
If you have a working car that you’re tired of trying to sell, or one you simply don’t want to put the time and energy into listing, negotiating, and dealing with the hassle… would you consider donating it to our school? Because the donation goes directly to a public school, it would be fully tax‑deductible.
Your generosity would directly lift up someone who is doing everything they can to support our students and our community. A vehicle could be the difference between constant struggle and real stability.
If this is something you’d be open to talking about, please message me. And even if you can’t help directly, sharing this post would mean a lot.
