This is ART... creativity at it's best for me!
It may look like just a bunch of retaining wall blocks, but...
I had a vision for our backyard and I designed it!!! This is just the beginning, there's more to come. I will post what this looked like before the magic happened.
Please remember that when someone says "I'm not an artist", they may not think about the beauriful garden they planted or the delicious charcuterie, or the quilt they sewed, the leather purse they tooled, the earrings they made, the sweater they knitted... and it goes on and on and on!!!
Creativity is all around you!
Everything has a creator. Someone designed all of the things we use on a daily basis and we don't think about that.
Where did it come from?
Who's idea was this?
How did they come up with that? (Tesla truck... it's beyond me!)
Not just that...
YOU are the Creator's creationš„³šš„°
He has filled each of us with so many things and guess what... when you got the presence of Jesus, He brought you presents that you haven't even opened YET!
The world will try and crush you and tell you that...
"You can't do that!"
One day, you will stand up and say "Why can't I do that!?!'
The only failure in your life will be not trying, because somebody said you couldn't! There maybe a Mona Lisa in you. It could be the towers on the San Francisco Bridge. (My mother dated the designer.) It could be the extravagant wedding dress. It could be painting Michael Jackson on the Tower Records on Mercer street in Seattle, like my friend David Heck did.
CREATIVE CULTURE NETWORK is about bringing creatives together, building a community of not just painters, but people who see things differently and think "OUT OF THE BOX!!!"
Remember... someone created that box š¤£šš¤£
It's time you got out of it!!!
If you need help coming out of the box... I did it, you can do it. The best thing is to get around people that will lift you up and encourage you! No "NAY" sayers!!! Just some hot creatives trying to start THE FIRE OF CREATIVITY and heat up the world with most wonderful ideas and then BRING THEM TO LIFE !!!
This may be long, but I hope it helps you get going on the assignment you are called to...
We're all different and have a plan and a purpose waiting for us to take the first step!
Blessings, love and hugs,
Katie "Out of the Box"

EXODUS 31: Then the Lord said to Moses, 2 āSee, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skillsā 4 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 5 to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts. 6 Moreover, I have appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. Also I have given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded you: 7 the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law with the atonement cover on it, and all the other furnishings of the tentā 8 the table and its articles, the pure gold lampstand and all its accessories, the altar of incense, 9 the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, the basin with its standā 10 and also the woven garments, both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when they serve as priests, 11 and the anointing oil and fragrant incense for the Holy Place. They are to make them just as I commanded you.ā
