This week, we talked about jealousy, which is a feeling of insecurity, anguish or fear over the loss of possession of a loved one, or something close to our hearts.
It is often mistake for envy, which is a feeling of wanting to own what the other has. In general, jealousy is always accompanied with a feeling of envy.
In the exchange of this issue, it emerged in the comments that jealousy is a bad thing that can lead to really do bad things. For example, hurting others for who they are, or for what they have, or for fear of losing them, or for material or money.
Most often, it is a lack of self-confidence that causes jealousy in some people.
Usually, jealousy manifests itself as lack of self-confidence, envy, mistrust, lack of respect for others, superiority, or inferiority complex.
The jealous person doesn't want to recognize the sacrifices of others, he has trouble seeing the others evolve, he has the art of knowing how to belittle others in order to be seen.
A jealous person is always unhappy and in pain, because he envies the little of the other, while he has gold in his hands, or simply cannot stand the joy of life of others.
Jealousy like pride is part of the 7 deadly sins. These are emotions that live in every human being, but it is the way in which we tame it on a daily basis that defines us.
As I like to say, the first weapon against jealousy is to cultivate love by starting with yourself. A person who does not know how to love himself cannot love his neighbor.
Cultivate self-confidence, work towards being financially independent, whatever the job as long as it's worthy work. As they say, there is no sub-profession. Thus, it would avoid reaching out or envying.
Thank you to all of you my nice people for your invaluable uplifting contributions.
We'll meet next week for another issue on hypocrisy.
May the grace of God, the Father always be our share
