Is this listener a jerk or justified for being bothered about her bridemaid wearing her dress before the wedding?

Hi guys,

Kenz I know you are getting married soon and Clay has been through a wedding already.

I’m hoping you can use this for your Jerk or Justified segment because I honestly cannot tell if I’m overreacting.
I am getting married in two weeks. I picked out bridesmaid dresses I thought my girls would like. They are nice, simple, and something they could wear again. I even told them I chose them because they were wearable.

One of my bridesmaids wore the dress to her office party last weekend. She posted photos, people saw it, and now the dress is already out there. I was planning on that being part of the reveal at the wedding. I wanted everyone to see the bridal party together for the first time. Instead, I feel like one of the surprises is gone.
She says I should be happy she is getting use out of the dress and that I literally picked it because it was wearable. I get that, but I meant after the wedding, not before. Now I feel silly for even being bothered by this, but it also rubbed me the wrong way.
Am I being too sensitive? Or is it reasonable to want the dress saved for the wedding day?

So for Jerk or Justified, am I a jerk for being annoyed, or am I justified for wanting her to save the dress for the wedding day?
