It’s been a minute! Finally got my latest piece framed. Now to catch up with all the other finishes! Stay tuned for more soon!!

Finally finished this one and got it framed! It’s looking for a good home. It’s sitting in a floating frame so the front and back are visible.

Soooo I posted something on TikTok that was quite cathartic for me. And it prompted me to open up my Etsy shop. It’s taking me a bit to post my listings but I’m working on it bit by bit. Have to redo photos of my finished cross stitches and needle minders to get those up. In the meantime, here’s a sample of what’s in the shop! Enjoy!!

Welp. I got my caught up with my current stock of thread. So on to the next WIP. I didn’t finish the cat yet because this obviously needed to be stitched ASAP. All of my stitches are obviously done in a very pet friendly home. Their fur is inadvertently stitched into everything. But I do wash and iron every piece before framing so there’s that.

I know it has been awhile since I’ve posted any works but that’s because I haven’t been stitching. I’ve been lucky to still be working and from home. I’ve been spending a lot of my “free” time volunteering for an amazing giant breed dog rescue! I even acquired my own giant catdog out of it. Started stitching again to find some inner peace. Stay tuned. You know there’s going to be a cuss word in this one. Hashbrown neverdoingakitagain

I’d like to work on a series of misheard lyrics. Will you share yours to be added to the stitch list? I’ll start with my personal favorite eff up on Hotel Yorba by The White Stripes. I thought it was, “At the Hotel Yorba, I'll be glad to see you later, all they got inside is bacon and cheese.” It’s actually, “All they got inside is vacancy.” My logic was that it was a hotel. With continental breakfast. What is your favorite misheard lyric?! Picture is recent thread haul for attention. I don’t normally care for variegated thread but these turn out in ombré patterns and they’re so pretty.
