We're super-excited for San Diego Comic-Con International! Here's the rundown on all the panels and gaming sessions we're doing there! We have so many prizes we don't know what to do with them all! Everyone who comes to our panels or gaming sessions and signs up for our e-mail list will get a prize from Evil Hat Productions! We aren’t just creating a series with Whispers From The Shadows, but also a language! Language consultant Britton Watkins (Star Trek Into Darkness) is developing the fictional Aklo language for our series. Aklo (which sometimes goes by other names) is a secret mystical language often referenced by HP Lovecraft and other writers. We are excited to have him on the team!

Britton Watkins — never one to follow the normal path — received a BA in East Asian Studies at the University of South Carolina including a year at the University of Hawaii. Shortly thereafter he took off for Japan where he converted his hobby of computers into his career in training and product management in high tech in Japanese. An enthusiastic armchair linguist, Britton speaks several languages which in addition to English and Japanese include Spanish, Thai, un peu de français, and he dabbles in others like Mandarin and Cherokee. He even knows a few from various sci-fi franchises like Na’vi and Vulcan. Recently his portfolio career expanded into movie-making and xenolinguistics proper including Klingon dialect coaching for Zoë Saldana and other denizens of Kronons on Star Trek Into Darkness. Britton also created languages for his 2014 feature film Senn (sennition.com), which he co-wrote and produced with his husband, Josh Feldman. Since the early new millennium they have been living happily in the San Francisco Bay Area with their two cats, Sy and Dex.

Remember that Lovecraft inspired anthology series I've been talking about?

Lovecraft eZine and Alien Jungle Bug Productions are proud to announce that "Whispers From The Shadows" is the official name for the series. The show will adapt many of the excellent Lovecraftian horror short stories from the popular online magazine.

And just in case you missed it before, music composer Troy Sterling Nies (The Call of Cthulhu, The Whisperer in Darkness) has joined our team! He has many years of experience working on a wide range of films & video games, including popular Lovecraft adapted films.

Needless to say, we are extremely excited about this project. Stay tuned for more updates.

We are excited to share with you an addition to our crew for the new anthology series. Music composer Troy Sterling Nies (The Call of Cthulhu, The Whisperer in Darkness) has joined our team! He has many years of experience working on a wide range of films & video games, including popular Lovecraft adaptated films. He is the perfect fit for this series and we are eager to work with him.

We had an excellent pre-production meeting today on the new series. One of the writers said during the meeting... "I feel like we are making TV history."... I don't know about that, but so far it looks like this series is going to be pretty fantastic. Of course I could be biased. ;-)

Alien Jungle Bug Productions and Lovecraft eZine have announced a new anthology series currently in development. The series will adapt short stories from the popular Lovecraft ezine into standalone episodes, in a similar vein as “Twilight Zone” or “Outer Limits.”

Alien Jungle Bug's Reality On Demand will be screening at the Homegrown Hoosier Film Festival on September 22nd! Congratulations to the cast & crew! The Paramount Theatre Centre and Ballroom is a beautiful building to watch any movie or series, so if you can make it, please attend and support our show and all of the other awesome movies that will be there.
