I am a Minnesota-based artist, although I love to travel and paint beauty where I find it. I am inspired to create visual impressions of natural settings that bring a feeling of the outdoors to residential and business interior spaces.

A couple days ago, I shared a painting looking toward Seven Sisters Prairie and Lake Christina from a quiet country road - the Douglas/Otter Tail County Line.

This painting was created farther up that same road.

Different vantage point. Different focus. Different light.

But part of the same landscape that continues to pull me back, year after year.

This piece will be part of the Minnesota Plein Air Collective exhibition, opening May 16 at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum, in Winona.
