Paul Morrissey died today. He was the brains behind ALL of Andy Warhol's films and discovered The Velvet Underground. I'm crushed. He cast me in one of his films when I was just fourteen, "Mixed Blood" (same film as Joh Lequizamo's first film). I was a drug dealer (go figure). I grew up with his sister's massive Italian/Irish family in New Jersey, I knew Paul intimately, personally, thoroughly. I watched Nico live on my street trying to get herself together.

RIP Meatloaf. Worked on a film he was in. I put some traveling exorcist tent revival sermon in the background, make it sound like he was listening to one of the old radio revival stuff. The reverend was a real person and the recording was of a live event on the 50s. Didn't meet Meatloaf during the shoot but was stoked i got to work on a film that had him in it. Always thought he was an effective actor.
