Last week’s rehearsal agenda: Hindemith. Only Hindemith.
We dedicated the entire night to Paul Hindemith’s monumental Symphony in B-flat. Celebrating its 75th anniversary, this cornerstone of the wind-band repertoire is going to be worth every minute of practice.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month!

Hispanic composers have enriched the classical wind band repertoire with music that draws from diverse traditions, rhythms, and cultural voices. From Arturo Márquez and Gabriela Ortiz to Juan Pablo Contreras and Luis Serrano Alarcón, to Nubia Jaime-Donjuan and Jorge Vargas, their works bring vibrant perspectives to the concert stage.

We’re proud to celebrate this music in our own season opener, featuring Juan Pablo Contreras’ La Silla as a highlight of the program.
