Tonight I attended the Seldoms’ Summer Soirée
The Seldoms dance ensemble performed in an elegant, verdant space and collaborated with composer/percussionist Tim Daisy. Live music, dance, DJ, tasty summer nosh and libations made for an epic summer evening.

Last night was the opening of a moving play about the quilt makers of Gee’s Bend, Alabama. My artist-friend Sholo Beverly and I painted the set under the direction of Tim Rhoze, Director. This was the first time in my life that I have painted a giant cotton field!
