Come find out and race this Saturday June 20th, as the kids take over the Wyoming Downs stretch run as the annual KIDS STICK HORSE RACES return! Finish in the top 3 to take home the trophy!🐴 🏆

Depending on your age group, you will qualify for the KY Derby, Preakness or Belmont Stakes! Stick (horse) races will take place throughout the day in between the horse races. We can’t wait to see you there!

🏇Wyoming Downs is proud to be utilizing the McLLOYD Timing System throughout the 2026 meet, providing detailed race tracking data, sectional times, and miles per hour metrics for every horse, in every race. 🚨⏱️

These premier tracking devices are used at major tracks in France, Qatar, South Africa, Hong Kong, Italy, and recently in the US at our sister track, Kentucky Downs.

Updated data links will be posted following each race weekend, typically on Mondays/Tuesdays after our Friday–Sunday programs. If you’d like to view any & all reports from previous races, or view stats specific to your horse, please click the link below!

Thoroughbreds took the Sunday spotlight! 🏆⭐️

The partnership of CJ Thoroughbreds, Eugene Joyce, 7C Racing, & S&W Farm swept ALL three Wyoming-bred thoroughbred stakes yesterday.

Jimmy Jams ( #2, first slide) & Sevy’s Lady ( #4, blue silks) won their respective heats of the 307HR TB Futurity on a four-win day for trainer Dru Hall.

Two Steves ( #7, red silks) CRUSHED them in the 307 HR TB Derby by 13 1/2 lengths in his return to .

The queen Zippin Pippin made her return for GT Racing LLC & Tori Hadley a victorious one, winning the $40k Liz Byrd Distaff in dramatic fashion!

307 HR Open Quarter Horse Futurity Trials UPDATE🚨: Yesterday’s trial day was action packed!

Cyber Buzz ( #2, pictured) zipped through Saturday’s first heat to secure the fastest overall time of 15.403 for the 300 yds — AND kept her perfect record intact, moving to 4 for 4 lifetime. She was ridden to victory by Brandon Mendez Guevara, and is trained & owned by Alex J. Torres-Casas. Congratulations to the winning connections and we can’t wait to see Cyber Buzz again on JUNE 28!

Trainer Joe Davis also had a fantastic day sending out the second through fifth fastest qualifiers topped by SP Sinful Saint ( #4, pictured) with a time of :15.459. Jockey Bryan Candanosa was aboard for the winning ride, as well as two other Davis qualifiers Miss Dashin Hocks, and Cowboy Favorite — comprising 4 wins on the card for Candanosa.

What a special day at Wyoming Downs! 🏇❤️

We were honored to welcome the Freedom Riders from Utah for a memorable day at the races. Children had the opportunity to meet our jockeys, take photos, collect autographs, and create lasting memories with some of Wyoming racing’s biggest stars.

A huge thank you to the Freedom Riders families, volunteers, and our jockey colony for making this event so meaningful. Seeing the smiles throughout the day was a reminder of what makes our racing community so special!
