Making a Difference, One Diaper at a Time!
During our recent diaper collection, members of the The Woman's Club of Evanston came together to support Bundled Blessings and their Diaper Days 2026 community diaper drive.
Thanks to the generosity of our members, we collected more than 600 diapers to help local families in need and supported Bundled Blessings' ambitious goal of collecting 100,000 diapers during May 2026.
Every diaper donated helps provide comfort, dignity, and essential support to families in our community. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make a difference!

Juneteenth, celebrated each year on June 19, commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and serves as a day of celebration, remembrance, and reflection.
To honor this important occasion, Evanston will host its first-ever 2.5-mile Juneteenth Walk along the lakefront today at 10:30 a.m. We invite our community to come together to celebrate freedom, reflect on our shared history, and continue the journey toward equity and justice.

It's one of the largest racial justice run events in the nation! The YWCA Evanston-North Shore's "Annual Ricky Byrdsong Memorial Race Against Hate" is back in Evanston for the 27th year. Cherese Ledet joins us with more.
