Finally getting around to posting a few of the things I’ve framed recently. This was done for a repeat customer, if you’re from Western Penna, this image depicting McConnell’s Mill State Park is probably a familiar sight. The painting by David H. Kennedy probably looks familiar to you as well. He has painted many of the buildings and landmarks around Western Penna on canvas and small wooden blocks.

I was thrilled last week when announced their return to Pittsburgh, and I began to remember what a fun weekend this was! Two nights of The String Cheese Incident at the in Reno. For this fabulous poster by I wanted to go for an old Wild West look. I made the frame out of used boards from a friend’s old cabin. It turned out exactly as I intended and looks like it should be hanging somewhere like the in Virginia City, where the very first psychedelic poster happened for The Charlatans.

Generally, I don’t really like white, but sometimes white needs to be used, and this is such an instance. I used white matting with a simple polished pewter metal frame so that this awesome photograph of Mario Lemieux taken by really is the focus when hanging on the wall.

It was a pleasure doing this frame for to commemorate his hole in one at the . It took several design changes before I finally settled on this one. My effort was worth it because Denny loves it. Shadow boxes are fun to create, but extremely time consuming. This shadow box and the Purple Heart shadow box that I did for last year are both prime examples of the creativity and quality that you won’t get from the big box stores. I won’t name names, but they all oddly seem to have people’s names as their names. Strange. If you’re looking for top notch quality and creativity, check out Imagine It Framed!

This panoramic photo by of turned out awesome! I can’t believe that I had never heard of this place until brought me this photograph! I will definitely be checking out Hocking Hills in the near future! One of the great things about framing is listening to people tell the story behind the items they bring me.
