Hey there my goofy guys, gals, geese, &g**s
Just wanted to update everyone since there hasn't been much art lately.... I hit a little bit of a wall with the heat setting in down here in Florida. I have a serious heat intolerance so changes in weather hit hard mentally and physically.... hopefully I adapt and break this funk soon. Summer is always a little hard on my creative side but I should have some fun small things soon to show. Always listen to your body and rest when you need it. Be creative when you can. Be your strange beautiful self always.

5 rows into what should become a chainmaille backpack.... its definitely a personal project in my time between other things because it's going to take eternity and would end up far to expensive for sale.
You might have seen the predecessor of this which I put double as many rings as a should have on but huzzah to learning struggles. Should make a reasonably sized bag when I finish it eventually.

Did you know Plastic bags are hard to commercially recycle? Due to that fact most end up in landfills even if sent to recycling centers. One way to get more life out of them as a crafter ? Plarn. Plarn (Plastic yarn) hand made from store bags . I have worked with this for years and it is truly a labor of love. Its a tedious task to prep and make but it's a great way to bring new life to things discarded. In my time plarning I've donated sleeping mats to the homeless, made things for my own home, and have taught a few people the craft successfully. It's fundamentally easy busy work and I truly encourage it. There are so many things you can do with Plastic bags. Save a sea turtle and make something!
