Arts Alive! Humboldt

Arts Alive! Humboldt Lately we've been asked regularly about how to have a place for art or a performance during arts alive.

Humboldt County is home to various arts events where tourists and resident alike graze and sip their way along various parts of the county, where dozens of historic galleries and businesses showcase the works of artists and musicians alike. 🎨🛹 Humboldt has an incredible way of bringing art and community together, and this is a perfect example!

The 10th Annual Skateboard Art Fundraiser showcases amazing artwork from talented local artists, with proceeds helping provide skateboards and helmets to youth throughout our community.

A huge thank you to Humboldt Skate Lab for generously donating the skateboard decks that become these one-of-a-kind works of art, and to The Epitome Gallery for hosting this incredible fundraiser!

If you’re out enjoying Arts Alive, make sure to stop by, check out the artwork, support local artists, and help make a difference for local kids. Every board purchased helps keep this amazing tradition rolling! ❤️🛹

Emma Miller of Danger Quilting Stained Glass shared some of her pieces, primarily made from salvaged and scrap glass, at Pigeon Point Artisans during Weekend 2 of North Coast Open Studios. Over Emma's shoulder is a stained glass piece made by her grandfather, from whom she inherited many of her tools and initial supplies.

North Coast Open Studios takes place annually during the first two weekends in June.
