**Updated Lamb Info**

Even though I didn’t breed ewes this year...I am still here to help your kiddos find their 4-H sheep projects. I sold my ewes to a “local/Severy” family who would LOVE to help you out. I have also contacted my all-time sheep experts. They have numerous online sales and also sell off the farm in Longton.

To all my Greenwood County 5B kids...don’t forget we have a Greenwood County Born class at the fair this year!!! For this class you must sign up for Class 86 AND include an affidavit WITH you entries! I need to sign that affidavit as well!!! And as always, I like to see all the kiddos in Showmanship!!

4-H PROJECT OPPORTUNITY : After much contemplation, we have decided to sell our small sheep flock. I love working with the kids from the bottom of my heart; but our family interests are leading us in a different direction.

I have 13 ewes (yearling to age 5) and 1 ram (5 yrs old). Several of these are registered. We produced several Grand and Reserve Champion Market Lambs and Breeding Ewes In Butler and Greenwood Counties the past couple of years. We also have had several top 5 class finishes at the Kansas State Fair. I am not interested in selling the ram separate at this time. But would split the ewes with 2 families if interested in partnering on the ram. I will consider any option. More details on the ewes/ram upon request.

We are looking forward to our 4-H kids coming out this weekend. I’m eager to help the kids start the 2019 sheep project. I will start my lambs at $200 but will have some up to $300 and a couple at $400. I have several speckles this year and a few that will be naturals(black).

It looks like my sheep “kid” numbers might be growing a little this year. Lambs will be weaned and ready to go the weekend of March 30th. Message or text me If you are interested in purchasing from us this year...please give me an idea of how many you will be looking at? And if any of those are too be used for State Fair or Junior Livestock?? The Greenwood County sheep project is up in numbers, and there is also a Greenwood County Born Market class this year. I look forward to working with our 4-Hers.
