Someone's Favorite (Lots of museum visits as a kid, which of course, at the time, I didn't truly appreciate.)

As an abstract artist employing an adapted Dutch paint pour method, my art is guided by intuition, mood, color, and movement, evoking the subconscious and creating vibrant visual stories unique to each viewer. I've been so fortunate to have been surrounded by great art since I was a child (my stepfather, was an artist and I'm definitely influenced by his work) and art, in general, was something our family valued and sought out. When I was a young woman I met my dear friend, artist Brian Clarke, who was in art school at the time. Brian broadened my art horizons to include many amazing (and more contemporary) artists and illustrators. My art education has been eclectic, and organic and continues to expand every day fueled by personal interest, and love of beauty, and expression.
