Your earring?
I didn’t notice your earring. I only look up and down your face. Locked in your eyes, I push away.
And why are they so glassy? You don’t strike me as much of a drinker. Is that a bad joke?
Your blue turban doesn’t complement your yellow jacket. It complements your blushing face.
Was that intentional? Well who can blush intentionally?
And you expose such vulnerability in your lips.
Don’t we all wish we could have something like that for ourselves?
But then your eyes again, I pray you’ll be safe wherever you go.
But you saw these same things in me before I saw them in you. Well I guess that is kind of rare. But I don’t see anything expensive, only that which is priceless. Hey maybe you’re not such a foreigner. Don’t we all want to look back as we walk away?
