Meet the visionary behind this production of The Sacred Veil 🌟

Sophia Smith is the talented choreographer behind this work. Bringing her expertise in an array of art forms and background in dance performance, she brings to you her first full evening-length performance.

Sophia's background in performance extends to performing works by George Balanchine, Grady Bowman, Rena Butler, William Forsythe, Ilya Kozadayev, Jiří Kylián, Marius Petipa, Penny Saunders, and Yuri Yanowsky.

With an avid love for dance and a passion for embracing new art forms, Sophia has also found joy in lighting design where she has served as lighting designer for five new dance works.

What is the Sacred Veil? ❤️

The Sacred Veil is a cross-collaborative arts performance with the Windsong Chamber Choir and featured dancers from OU Dance.

The ballet brings you into the retelling of the poet and lyricist’s life through the lens of dance and choral music. He tells the story of his love for his wife, their courtship and marriage, and the journey through her passing from cancer.

An intimate performance in a natural venue makes this a one-of-a-kind performance.

Born in Cuba and armed with a BA from Harvard and an MBA from the University of Miami, Fidelma brings a wealth of international banking expertise from her time in Miami.

Now in Northwest Arkansas, she's making waves as a certified financial planner with her own firm.

While Inspiration Point has been home to artistic creativity for decades, we’re stepping into a new season: becoming a year-round space where the performing arts can grow, connect, and inspire our region.

Our mission is simple: to provide opportunities for lifelong learning, performance, and artistic exploration for people of all ages in Northwest Arkansas and beyond.

In the coming months, we’ll be sharing updates about new programming, community events, partnerships, and ways to get involved.
