Folk Fest Edition

Wayne Gottstine of Split Lip Rayfield and Alex Hawf of Front Porch are joining forces for a very special LULLABY HOUR! This is a big one.

Undoubtedly, Wayne is a LEGEND in the punk bluegrass world. His work has paved the way for many artists, and yet still crushing with new music all of the time. Wayne is a timeless artist and ripper! His songs are well known around these parts that’s for sure! I couldn’t think of a better fit for Wayne’s Lullaby Hour pairing than my friend and local multi-instrumentalist/ songwriter, Alex Hawf. Alex has been playing music for most of his life. He joined the NWA music scene about six years ago. He is a madman on the Mando and honestly, with a little time any instrument that he picks up. He just placed 1st at the Kansas State Comp for mandolin.

This pairing is going to be off the charts! 📈

A friend of mine commented that: missing this show would be equivalent to not putting in your shopping cart back. And I couldn’t agree more.

at THE LULLABY HOUR: Adam Becker’s Future Television

Future Television is three-piece all original band whose music is inspired by artists like Anderson Paak, J Dilla, Herbie Hancock and Charles Mingus. FTV was formed in the Ozarks around cooperative songwriting amongst friends, one person brings in an idea and the others help them piece it together. After a year of hashing out ideas, FTV is now beginning to release their music and live show to the world, but the idea is still the same- three friends making sounds that they find interesting without limits.

This group was founded by Northwest Arkansas piano extraordinaire, Adam Becker! This genre will new musically for The Lullaby Hour! Which is what it’s all about— supporting uniqueness, art, and community through live music!

Personally excited for this week of music

Mon: Carolina is always a pleasure and never a disappointment

Tuesday: we never know so it’s good to go and be a part of it or watch what happens.

Wednesday: Aaron Walker…
Can’t say anything because you gotta see it yourself. And I’m afraid to write anything positive or charming about him. He’d get pi**ed if I did.

Thursday: Trevor Dayz he’s new to the music scene(our scene)and is absolutely dazed. Lyrical and fu***ng off center which fits with us misfits personally feel it’s a must see but be patient because the 8 “ish” is not a joke.

Friday: Japhy is nothing but professional and a full on beast of entertainment. They are going to give everyone a hard chance to keep up this week. The talent is above normal standards

Saturday: For the first time in a very long time we have Mountain sprout…. Not sure if I’m excited or scared. The history of Chelsea’s and spouts have been a thing. It’s going to be interesting.

Sunday: Opals Lullabies pretty sure if you know ya know. If you don’t then be there at 4pm and you’ll know why.
