Big release today! Dirk Montgomery, one of our four scale-up winners for 2026, has his Imperial Stout recipe being released by Gilla Brewing Company today. Dirk is a great homebrewer from Oklahoma and he'll be on hand to visit today. Make sure to stop by and try out the beer if you can make it, and please thank Gilla for their continued support of the Boot Brew Fest and the homebrewing community in general!

This year we are changing it up a bit on the educational side of things! We have swapped out the 4 hour long live brewing demo in favor of three exclusive releases and banter with those brewers. There will be some discussion on how each brew was made while you get to sample it! We'll also be handing out some vendor swag to attendees during these sessions!

The great thing is you can check these out inside the serving area and each release is scheduled to be at the top of each hour and last no more than 15 minutes. It's a great opportunity to get an under-the-hood view of the brewing process while trying amazing brews that are exclusive to that presentation! The schedule for next Saturday is:

2pm: Alan Wells
Serving: Berliner Weisse

3pm: Wes Kulcak
Serving: Wood-aged Doppelbock
