I'm so sad to hear of the passing of the incredible artist Pam Kinneberg. I only met her once, at MAX 2025. Sarah Powers had just painted this bat on me and I was wandering around the vendor room. Pam stopped me and said "Oh! Can I please paint you?"
I was so delighted to have a moment with such a legend as she painted her iconic eye designs on me. She really made me feel special.
I'm grateful to her for that moment of connection, and for the generous knowledge she has shared with the face painting world that inspired so many of us to create and make these special moments for the people we paint.
It makes me think about how what we do is important, making connections and memories, through art and through taking the time to be with someone, face to face. Let's make something special together. Can I please paint you?

Somehow even working both Saturday Market and a birthday party, I didn't paint a single dragon! That's almost unheard of! I did do some other very fun designs though. Please enjoy 😄

Let me share a thing I did!
I painted these signs for the Eugene Saturday Market's Oregon Country Fair booth!
They are BIG! The largest is 9'x4' made up of 3 3'x4' panels. The others are 6 1/2'x 1' and 10'x1', made of 2 panels each.
I constructed the panels of plywood and 1"X2"s. It was very fun, and I plan to add more to them for next year. I have ideas I just didn't have time to add this year.
Also, in the background of the last picture is a canvas banner I painted in 2019. I love that the colors go so well. Vibrant and primary and bold!❤️🧡💛💚🩵💜

Tomorrow is another beautiful sunny day at the Eugene Saturday Market, with reasonable temperatures this time!
I will be slinging face paint and glitter on the Park Blocks (8th & Oak)in my spot by the stage (booth 318).
