This was such a fun project!! Quitze originally got my thistle design from the Out of Step Tattoo (Campus) valentines flash day tattooed by Andrea Ibach (and it is so perfect 🥹.) We decided to add some matching dandelions on the other side and freehanded some asymmetrical stars to mix it up.
Freehanding elements of my work has been fairly common lately and I just love it. Not only does it remind me of all the progress I’ve made in my career, but it is such a fun way to make the design flow with the body (great for filling little gaps too).

An updated tattoo station tour since I haven’t made one since I was first licensed. It’s been a year and a half (or so, I make art not math) of collecting stuff from conventions, thrift stores, and also receiving gifts from my lovely coworkers and clients. 🖤
Incredibly thankful and excited for more gap fillers. I personally think the wall with the trinket shelf needs some more friends.

✶ ANNOUNCEMENT ✶
Starting April I will be increasing my hourly rate to $150 from $125. If you currently have an appointment booked, or have a submission waiting you will not be affected by this change.
All current available flash will remain the same for March, and then be adjusted come April.
Keep in mind that while I have an hourly rate, I typically price by piece based on size, detail, and placement with my hourly rate in mind. I will always give you a quote beforehand so there is no surprises and I don’t exceed that price even if the tattoo takes longer than expected.

Now that I have a year experience and I am getting much faster at my craft, this adjustment is necessary to ensure I can keep up with modern day cost of living and supplies. I realize that this is a hard financial time for a lot of people right now, if you have a budget please never hesitate to let me know as I can easily make adjustments to the design to match your budget. 🖤

And lastly, a very big thank you to everyone who supports my art in any way. Here’s to another year with ya’ll 🫶
