Downtown Eugene really lit up for the BRiGHT Parade. So much color, music, and kindness in one place. Glad I got to capture a little piece of it. ✨

We are over the full moon with gratitude for everyone that came together to make Sept 26 one for the history books! The inspiration is already flowing for BRiGHT 2027. Help us bring even more joy and creativity by supporting our work, all by a volunteer committee of parade aficionados. Special shoutout to our next judge, Patrick from The WOW Hall !

Patrick is a creative and awesome fellow here in Eugene, and is the Executive Director at the WOW Hall and has been a huge support to the BRiGHT Parade. “Patrick has lived in Eugene on and off since 2009, and he currently serves as Executive Director of the Community Center for the Performing Arts at the WOW Hall. He is a musician, and has performed — and worked on staff — at arts organizations large and small around the US. He is honored to be part of the Bright Parade and believes in more art, all the time, everywhere.”

Introducing our next judge Shannon Lee-Hutson!

Shannon is BRiGHT-Tastic! “Shannon Lee-Hutson will be a new judge to the BRIGHT Parade this year. As General Manager of the Saturday Market, Shannon has earned her Artisan “Cat-Herding” badge, Honorary Hippie title and is blessed to be a part of this special Community. Shannon enjoys the expression of the Arts in daily living and is the reason she relocated her family to the area in 2007. She has been discovering the beauty and awe of Eugene ever since.”

Shannon will be one of five amazing judges, and we are so lucky to have her special eye looking out at all our parade entries!
