Student Production Association of Lane Community College - SPA We produce three full theatrical productions and offer free workshops for Lane students and the Eugene community. If you are a Lane student, WE NEED YOU!!

In 2002 a group of dedicated students who wanted to produce theatre at Lane formed the Student Production Association. Their ingenuity, along with support from the Associated Students of Lane Community College, provided the fertile ground for SPA to grow. SPA now runs on the model of a professional production company and provides students the opportunity to fully engage in all aspects of theatre p

roduction. Annually SPA produces three full productions, various workshops, and showcases of work from acting classes. SPA is a resource for Lane students to create theater in all its forms and see their work in full productions. All are welcome! Want to explore theater as a career or extracurricular activity? A-Squared Productions and Lane/SPA invite you to audition for WaterWorks, premiering May 1–3, 2026 at LCC’s Ragozzino Theatre.

WaterWorks is a new musical about our relationships with land and water and the choices, conflicts, and hopes that shape our shared future.

📅 Auditions: Feb. 16 & 17 | 5–7 p.m.
📍 Location: LCC’s Ragozzino Theatre

We’re casting:
* 1 main character (Baritone): Regina (acolyte to the Water Goddess) / Reggie (executive assistant to Valeria Fitzworth)

* Adult SATB chorus

* Children’s chorus (ages 7+)

✅ All choral singers will be paid.

Delve into the depths of ambition and betrayal with Shakespeare's "Macbeth," directed and adapted by local actor, director, and theatre creator Paul Dunckel. This timeless tragedy explores the corrosive nature of power and the consequences of unchecked desire, as Macbeth grapples with prophecy, guilt, and the unraveling of his humanity. With its themes of fate and free will, this haunting tale prompts reflection on the darker sides of ambition and the fragility of morality.
