Ratie D Ratie Dangarembwa-Morgan was our phenomenal guest performer for ‘Awakened.’ Ratie spent many rehearsals with the choir teaching us her songs which are beautiful and powerful (just like her!) Ratie is a Zimbabwean singer and songwriter who aspires to share positive and uplifting experiences through the sacred mbira and voice. You may be able to catch us singing again with Ratie soon, stay tuned for details!

Sarah B. Rose Sarah B. Rose is the Rose Women’s Choir’s founder and Executive/Artistic Director. Training in classical, jazz and musical theatre. Rose studied at the UofO, LCC, and Cornish College of the Arts, studying classical and jazz voice and piano, composing and conducting. Sarah composed ‘Hope is the Thing with Feathers’
Brittany Studer Blacketer Brittany Studer is a composer and poet from Eugene. She has a Bachelor of Music in Composition from the U of O. She is a member of Rose Women’s Choir and the Rosettes jazz/a ca****la choir. She wrote and composed ‘Asleep in Eden.’
Olivia Davis holds a doctorate in music composition from the University Michigan. Davis has received commissions from esteemed performers, including MacArthur Fellow and Grammy Award–winner Johnny Gandelsman, and has been performed throughout the U.S. and Europe. Olivia composed ‘Under the Elm.’
