Instaballet Community created art! An interactive dance company—audiences choreograph on professional dancers.

, founded in 2013, is the creative brainchild of Suzanne Haag and Antonio Anacan, two former professional dancers with the Eugene Ballet Company.

is a free, interactive dance experiment that seeks to actively engage an audience in the “real-time” creation of original choreography. It provides the general public of all ages with a rare glimpse into the behind-the-scenes w

ork of both the creative process of setting a dance piece to music and the incredible ability of professional dancers to quickly and beautifully commit the movements to memory. The goal of the project is to move the audience from a more passive appreciation of dance to a deeper, more engaging experience where they become an integral part of the creative process.

🎟️ Tickets are ON SALE NOW for our 10th annual heART in Motion gala!

Save the date 💫 Saturday, August 22, 6–9 pm at Oregon Contemporary Theatre for an evening of creativity, community, and celebration.

Early tickets are just $50 when purchased online through Thursday, August 20 at 5 pm. Tickets at the door will be $60.

heART in Motion is one of our favorite traditions and truly unlike any fundraiser you’ve experienced.

The evening begins with a ✨creative cocktail hour✨ featuring delicious food, drinks, and interactive experiences that invite you to play, create, and connect. Then settle in for a performance featuring previously created ✨ ✨, bringing back some of our favorite artistic moments from years past. We’ll close out the night with ✨live music and a dance party✨ to celebrate together.

This year’s event will feature complimentary hors d’oeuvres from Market of Choice, wine from Capitello Wines, and beer from Falling Sky. We’re also excited to welcome back Bill Hulings as our MC at Oregon Contemporary Theatre.

Our goal this year is to raise $60,000 to sustain the 30+ workshops we bring into our community and local schools each year. Every ticket helps make creative experiences accessible, and we can’t do it without you.

There’s an art to figuring it out together. Listening, responding, and building something collectively that no one person could create alone.

Before each , we gather to explore ideas, create a few movement phrases, and collaborate with musicians. But once the begins, the audience becomes the choreographer. Their suggestions, choices, and energy shape the theme, story, and direction of the piece, making each a one-of-a-kind experience that is created live and collectively in real time.
