Capital T Theatre seeks to fill the roles of Phaedra and Marky for a production of Jerusalem. Production dates July 10, 11, 17, 18. Character descriptions below. Full perusal script available on request. (Due to the nature of this play, we strongly recommend giving it a look before auditioning.)
Phaedra - female presenting, 15 years old (preferred casting age between 18 and 25 to play younger - if wishing to audition and you are under 18, please let us know). Actor must feel comfortable singing solo.
Marky - male presenting, 6 years old (preferred casting age between 6 and 10). Role has two short scenes.

Capital T Theatre is amped up to reveal its 4th production-- Jez Butterworth's acclaimed play JERUSALEM.

A comic and contemporary vision of rural life in England's green and pleasant land, JERUSALEM explores community on the fringes of society and the impact of myth-making in powerful and unexpected ways.

Considered among the finest plays of the last 25 years, JERUSALEM has nevertheless seldom been produced in the United States--and to our knowledge (don't quote us on this), never in the PNW--making this production a rare opportunity to engage with this truly expansive and modern classic.
