Latinos are a bit preoccupied with, and strangely comforted by death and suffering. This is well represented in our various art forms. But I think it’s because our ancestors were/are vital to our identities, and we can’t quite let them go...

Excited to be at UNC Greeley for a long weekend making a new jazz work. Even with a rehearsal on Halloween, these dancers were enthusiastic and inspiring! Can’t wait to see what we make together 🥰🙌🏽🤩
