Hi friends and newcomers!

Since I’ve made quite a few new friends lately, I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself and my studio assistant.

I’m Leanna—a watercolor artist, encourager, photographer, grandma, dreamer, and lifelong creative.

I’m drawn to people, animals, nature, connection, and the beauty found in opposites.

I’ve recently moved to Eugene Oregon, where I’m busy creating, exploring new opportunities, making new friends, and building this next chapter of life.

And this little one is Pixie. Her responsibilities include studio supervision, moral support, and reminding me to take breaks.

Today was Chapter 2: Chasing Clouds in my The Magic of Expressive Imperfection watercolor series.

What a joy it was to spend the afternoon with these lovely artists, watching them loosen up and let watercolor work its magic.

I am so inspired by the artwork they created.
And can I just say it’s amazing having class at Central Art Roseburg. I did a little restock while there.

Can’t wait for the next class.
And here’s my cat helping me get ready for class. 😂
