Remember how I said I was going to share more about this mug and then never did? For some reason I’ve lost all motivation to make social media content but we are finally here! This mug was a personal project, inspired my the color of Old San Juan in Puerto Rico. I’ve visited three times and it is such a fun place, it was practically begging to be made into a bright, happy mug! This was so hard to make and I almost gave up multiple times… but I did it! And I am so happy with how it turned out ☺️

When my husband and I moved to Oregon almost two years ago, our first weekend trip was to the Bend/Sisters area. That was where I got the ideas to make my first PNW-inspired mugs (the three shown here) and look how far we’ve come! We went back this past weekend and it was fun to think about that trip being the start of my more intricate carved nature mugs that I love so much.

My favorite part this time around was the snow capped volcanoes so I’m already thinking up designs for the next batch ☺️

Switching things up today with a post instead of a reel, I just wanted to spotlight this piece before I send it off tomorrow!

The first time I visited Oregon, my husband’s family took us to Silver Falls State Park. I thought it was amazing and they kept telling me it was even better in spring/winter. After moving here, we knew we had to make it happen and did the entire Trail of Ten Falls that February. I was absolutely blown away! All of those beautiful waterfalls were at least double in size, if not more. It was muddy and wet but such a fun memory.

After making all these mugs inspired by my experiences in Oregon, it was about time I made a piece to represent one of my first favorite places in the area ❤️

I know a lot of you are travelers and/or PNW locals, how many of you have been to Silver Falls??

These pretty purple flowers just bloomed at our house, I’m not sure what they are but they definitely make my vases look good!

I don’t make vases much anymore but I have two of these marbled ones on Etsy that I’ve had foreverrrr. Sometimes that feels discouraging but then other times I realize that if they don’t sell, I can just keep them for myself 😊
